Nicholas Alden joined the UC Davis men's water polo team in 2022. In addition to his responsibilities in the pool, Alden works on logistics for team travel, team nutrition, day to day operation, branding, film, scheduling and recruiting.Â
Due in part to his scheduling responsibilities, Alden helped build a schedule in 2025 that ranked among the top in the nation as far as difficulty. Some of the games scheduled included two separate stints against Stanford, a road matchup against Cal, and a home game against USC, the #3 ranked team in the nation at the time.
Originally from Almaden, California, Alden is an alum of West Valley College and Southern Oregon University.Â
