Daniel Noble

Daniel Noble enters his second season on the deck for the UC Davis men’s and women’s water polo programs in 2020, hired prior to the start of the men’s 2019 fall campaign and helping lead the Aggies to that year’s Western Water Polo Association title and NCAA quarterfinals berth.

The position is his first at the collegiate level, focusing on film and opponent scouting, while also assisting in the program’s recruiting efforts and planning practices.

Noble began his coaching career with the San Clemente Tritons Water Polo Club in 2015, guiding the 10-and-under, 12-and-under, and 14-and-under boys teams. He then spent a year as the assistant coach for the girl’s water polo and swim teams at Capistrano Valley High School from 2016-17.

Upon his arrival in Northern California in 2017, The San Clemente, Calif., native joined the staff of the Davis Water Polo Club, coaching the 12-and-under boys and girls teams, while also attending to his duties with the two UC Davis programs.

Noble prepped at San Clemente High School, where he lettered in both water polo and swimming, before moving on to play two seasons at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, Calif., where he earned second team All-Orange Empire Conference honors as a freshman and a spot on the first team as a sophomore, finishing with 39 goals, 27 assists, and 25 steals, en route to a 17-9 overall record.
