2013: Did not appear in any games due to injury.

2012: Appeared in 10 games, primarily coming off the bench at wide receiver... Caught 20 passes for 251 yards and one touchdown... Caught a season-best five receptions for 66 yards at South Dakota State... Found the endzone as a part of a two-catch, 21-yard effort against Weber State... Caught four passes for 52 yards against Montana State.

2011: Redshirted.

MENLO SCHOOL '11: Garnered All-Peninsula Ocean League honors in both football (twice) and baseball (once)... Tallied 65 receptions, 1,201 yards and 8 touchdowns as a junior, then improved to 68-1,406-13 as a senior... Helped lead Knights to Central Coast Section title game in 2009... Racked up 10 catches for 250 yards in that contest... Batted .323 with 24 steals, 32 runs and 29 RBIs as a senior shortstop/outfielder, boosting MHS to a 26-5 record and a second straight CCS banner.

PERSONAL: Born in Stanford, Calif.... Majoring in communication... Parents are Thomas Benton and Beverlee Hastings... Proudest personal accomplishment was earning his Eagle Scout rank.
