2018: PHIL STEELE PRESEASON ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE selection… Finished his senior season with 40 total tackles (17 solo), 6.5 tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries and a sack… Recorded a season-high six tackles in three games — vs. Idaho State (10/13), Northern Arizona (11/3) and at Eastern Washington (11/10) — and a career-high 2.5 tackles for loss at Eastern Washington.
2017: Saw action in 10 games as a transfer junior... Recorded a total of 42 tackles as the starting defensive nose tackle, 22 solo and 20 assisted... Finished second on the team in sacks with five for a loss of 28 yards... Recorded back-to-back-to-back sacks against Northern Arizona (10/21), Cal Poly (10/28) and Idaho State (11/4)... 7.5 of his tackles cost opposing offenses 34 yards, including two TFLs versus North Dakota (9/30)... Disrupted Northern Arizona's offense with three broken passes... Posted three consecutive seven-tackle games at the close of the season against Cal Poly, Idaho State and Southern Utah (11/11)... Also forced a quarterback hurry at Sacramento State (11/18).
LOS ANGELES VALLEY COLLEGE (2015-17): Twice named as team's Defensive Lineman of the Year... Made All-American Pacific Conference second team as a freshman, then improved to first team as a sophomore... Played for head coach Robert Tucker, now the Aggies' defensive coordinator... Totaled 9 tackles-for-losses for 42 yards, including 5 sacks in 2016... Helped Monarchs to 20 combined wins in two years, including a perfect 11-0 slate and an AP Championship Bowl title as a sophomore.
PALMDALE HS '15: Lettered in football, track & field and swimming... Posted 80 tackles, including 10 sacks as a senior... Earned all-city and first-team All-Southern Section honors, plus Golden League Defensive Player of the Year acclaim... Previously claimed second-team All-CIF-SS and All-Golden League status as a junior... Played for head coach Jeff Williams... Amassed 37 tackles with 6 for losses and 3 sacks that year... Helped Falcons to three straight section playoff berths, including a 10-2 record as a senior.
PERSONAL: Born in Palmdale, Calif.... Father is Terrell Cloud... Avid swimmer, who would opt for that sport if not for football... Also claims "swimming in a waterfall" as a bucket list item... Favorite course he has ever taken is African-American history, a subject he hopes to teach one day.
