NOTRE DAME HS '19: Third-ranked recruit by HERO Sports… Competed in the 2018 Honor Bowl, one of the top football showcases on the West Coast that featured 33 of California’s top recruits… Notre Dame advanced to the semifinals of the CIF Southern Section Division II playoffs in 2018… In addition to his defensive prowess, he caught three passes, including one for a touchdown as a junior…  Named team defensive MVP and earned second-team all-league honors as a junior… Student-Athlete award recipient for holding a GPA of 3.0 or above… Also competed on his school’s track & field team… Ran the 400m, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay as a junior.

PERSONAL: Full name is Ryker Sequoia Magdalena but uses middle name and often goes by the nickname "Coke"... Active in his school’s Black Student Union, Peer Leadership program and Astro Club, which focuses on quantum mechanics and anything involved with space.
