2009: Played in all 11 games, making first career start at SLB vs. Boise State... Finished year with 16 solos, 17 assists for 33 total tackles... Also had 3.0 stops for 3 yards... Earned fumble recovery and forced fumble (separate plays) vs. Winston-Salem State... The latter miscue was recovered by teammate Eric Sobotka, who ran it 34 yards for a TD... Co-winner of team's Defensive Player of the Week for that Homecoming effort... Opened year with career-best 7 tackles (3-4-7) vs. Fresno State... Also registered 5 stops each vs. Western Oregon, Boise State and Sacramento State.
2008: Registered 18 tackles (11 solos, 7 assists) in 11 games as a reserve... Also had 1.5 tackles for losses of 2 yards plus a pass breakup... Enjoyed his best game at Montana, tallying 3-2-5 tackles chart with all of his TFLs... Teamed up with Mike Healey to stop Griz RB Thomas Brooks-Fletcher for 2-yard loss in Aggie red zone during fourth quarter... Led team with 4 solo stops vs. Southern Utah.
2007: Appeared in all 11 games as a reserve... Recorded 22 total tackles (10 solos, 12 assists) along with a pass break-up (vs. Southern Utah) and a tackle for a 1-yard loss (vs. Western Washington)... Posted season-high 6 tackles (4-2-6) vs. Northeastern.
2006: Redshirted... Selected as Scout Defense Player of the Week for Sacramento State game.
SHELDON HS '06: Twice earned All-Delta League honors... Led team in tackles all four years, including 82 as a sophomore, 115 as a junior and 125 as a senior... Also posted 18 sacks, 2 defensive TDs, 4 fumble recoveries, 2 interceptions and 8 forced fumbles during final two years... Ranked among top 20 at Stanford Combine... Earned Sacramento Bee All-Metro honorable mention in 2005.
