2007: ALL-GREAT WEST FOOTBALL CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... Started all 11 games at left guard, extending string of consecutive starts to 22... Selected as team[apos]s Offensive Player of the Week after San Jose State game.

2006: Team captain... Started all 11 games at left guard.

2005: Appeared in 10 games... Started last 5 games of season at left guard when Kyle Skierski moved to left tackle.

2004: Redshirted... Selected as Scout Offense Player of the Week after Southern Utah game.

EL DORADO HS [apos]04: Started on both lines all four years... Earned first-team All-Century League honors as a senior, after winning second-team distinction as a junior... Twice voted as team[apos]s Hitter of the Year... Selected as Lineman of the Year in 2002... Recorded 55 total tackles and 4 sacks as a senior defensive tackle, yet did not allow a sack as an OT... Named MVP of the Orange County North-South All-Star Game... Twice won all-league acclaim as a shot putter for track & field team.

PERSONAL: Born in Orange, Calif.... Double-majoring in international relations and organizational studies... Parents are Serafin & Laura Gonzalez... Says the best athletes he[apos]s faced are the players in the county all-star game.
