ST. JOHN BOSCO HS '17: Member of Braves team that won CIF state title and ranked No. 2 nationally by MaxPreps.com in 2016... Bosco also won Southern Section title and advanced to state final in 2015, earning No. 4 national rank... Played for head coach Jason Negro... Competed three years of football plus freshman year of track & field... Part of school's "Fab Five" receiving corps that also produced current Aggie Jared Harrell... Totaled 57 catches for 854 yards and 8 touchdowns during final two seasons... Enjoyed career-best game vs. Santa Margarita as a senior: 4-for-140 with a pair of TDs... Ran 100, 200, 400, 400 hurdles and relays for track team prior to switching to football, earning Freshman of the Year accolades... Dean's List and high honors student for all four years.

PERSONAL: Born in Tarzana, Calif.... Expected to major in political science... Parents are Kevin & Karmen Gilbert.
