2007: ALL-GREAT WEST FOOTBALL CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM for second straight year... Also earned second consecutive GWFC All-Academic honors... Started all 11 games, moving back to right guard.

2006: ALL-GREAT WEST FOOTBALL CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM... Also named to GWFC All-Academic squad... Started all 11 games at right tackle... Picked up one tackle (on an interception) early in third quarter vs. Sacramento State... Entered year as third-team preseason All-America pick by College Sporting News... Also a second-team preseason All-GWFC pick.

2005: Started first 6 games (at right guard) of season before being sidelined by injury.

2004: Redshirted... Selected as Scout Defense Player of the Week after Northern Colorado game.

CARLSBAD HS [apos]04: Garnered first-team All-Avocado League honors as a senior... Also named as team[apos]s Lineman of the Year and Lifter of the Year... Won Swede Krcmar Athlete of the Year Award... Led team to San Diego Section D-I championship in 2003... Also lettered in track & field, capturing Avocado League title in shot put.

PERSONAL: Born in Orange, Calif.... Majoring in international relations... Parents are Gerald & Linda Compas... Career highlight thus far was hitting a hole-in-one... Lists Ted Johnson as his sports hero.
