Sam Eisenstadt

  • Title
    Defensive Quality Control
A 2019 graduate of Elon University in North Carolina and originally from Fairhaven Regional High School in Rumson, New Jersey, Sam Eisenstadt ventured across the country to join the UC Davis coaching staff as a quality control coach. He specifically helps Jerry Brady with the outside linebackers.

Eisenstadt starred as a defensive back at Fair Haven, earning first-team All-Shore Conference accolades and helping his team capture the 2014 state title – during which he earned state championship MVP. He went on to Elon, where he garnered CAA Academic All-Conference honors as a freshman. Unfortunately, he sustained a career-ending concussion as a redshirt freshman in 2016.

Remaining loyal to the Phoenix, Eisenstadt was brought on as a student assistant coach, helping head coach Tony Trisciani and DBs coach Ryan Smith in the Elon secondary, thus igniting his coaching career.

Eisenstadt holds a 200-hour teaching certification in Vinyasa yoga, and will teach his techniques to the Aggie student-athletes. The 22-year-old Eisenstadt can walk on his hands, and has a daily meditation practice.
