Joshua Nash

Bringing experience from coaching, operations, marketing and even sports medicine, Joshua Nash joined the UC Davis football staff as the director of operations in the summer of 2019.

Nash previously served as an offensive and quality control assistant at Drake, handling video breakdown for the coaching staff while also assisting in recruiting and with the 125th-year celebration reunion of the Bulldogs' program. He previously worked at Washington while completing his master's degree in education. In those two years in Seattle, Nash served as an operations intern with the NCAA West Region cross country championships and a graduate assistant with the Huskies' men's basketball team.

Nash also honed his skills as an operations intern with the Chicago Eagles indoor football team (2016-17), and as a member of the ops staff for the ESPN Popeye's Bahamas Bowl (2015 and 2016).

Originally from Florida, Nash starred for his Fort Myers High team before playing at Concordia Chicago from 2013-16. He posted 49 total tackles with two passes defended and two fumble recoveries in his career with the Cougars. Off the field, Nash presided over the sports marketing unit and served as a student athletic trainer before graduating with his degree in business communication in 2017.

Nash also enjoyed his first taste of the coaching world while at CUC, overseeing linebackers and special teams at nearby Riverside Brookfield High during his senior year. He volunteered with RBHS's Young Life organization and a Fellowship of Christian Athletes football camp.
