A California native, DuMaurier Jordan made his way to back the Golden State to join Head Coach Tim Plough's staff ahead of the 2024 season after spending one season at Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Tex. where he was the Defensive Backs Coach, Recruiting Coordinator, and NFL Liaison.

2025 will be his second season in charge of the Aggie cornerbacks as a member of the Aggie coaching staff.
 
His impact in northern Texas was immediately felt as he coached a secondary that improved from 132nd in passing defense to 21st in the country. Jordan also oversaw the development of Peyton Shaw who earned Second Team All-Conference honors, as well as two additional defensive backs who were tabbed honorable mention.
 
Prior to joining the staff at Midwestern State, Jordan was responsible for coaching and mentoring cornerbacks and safeties as the defensive backs coach at Ottawa University for two seasons in Surprise, Ariz. Jordan guided Eric Holman, to First Team All-Sooner Athletic Conference honors during his time with the Spirit. He also coached Brajhon Crenshaw, a Second Team All-Sooner Athletic Conference recipient.
 
Jordan had similar duties for two seasons at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, Calif., where Tre’ Wortham was a First Team All-Valley Conference member as a freshman and sophomore under the tutelage of Jordan.
 
Jordan’s coaching career began in 2014 at Franklin High School in Elk Grove, Calif. Jordan was the secondary coach and responsible for coaching the returners on special teams, while also planning and aiding in film breakdown with the defense.
