PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Walked on at New Mexico in 2008 but did not play... Transferred to Grossmont College, where he played 2009 and 2010... Caught 48 passes for 753 yards and 7 touchdowns as a sophomore, earning team MVP and All-Southern California Football Association honors... Twice earned SFCA Player of the Week... Also named as school[apos]s Student-Athlete of the Year.

SCRIPPS RANCH HS [apos]08: Captured All-Eastern League and Wide Receiver of the Year honors... Only two-way starter, appearing at WR and free safety... Recorded 42 catches, 543 yards and 5 touchdowns on offense, posting 2 picks on defense... Selected as school[apos]s Student-Athlete of the Year representative for San Diego Section.

PERSONAL: Born in San Diego, Calif.... Majoring in human development... Parents are Curt & Shari McLeland... Career highlight was amassing 3 TDs and more than 200 receiving yards in final Grossmont game... Hopes to become a Division I offensive coordinator.
