2014: Played in 10 games, starting matchup at Northern Arizona in ninth week... Posted 11 catches for 170 yards, one of seven Aggies to catch more than 150 yards in passes... Caught season-high three passes for 26 yards against Montana State... Had two grabs for 53 yards versus Northern Colorado... Picked up two yards on lone rush (at Colorado State).
2013: Played in four games before suffering season-ending injury... Received a medical hardship waiver to preserve year of eligibility... Only reception was a 59-yard gain from QB Jimmy Laughrea early in the second quarter at Nevada... The catch set up the Aggies with a first down at the Wolf Pack's 10-yard line... Carried the ball twice in the early season, including a nine-yard pickup against Northern Arizona.
2012: Appeared in all 11 games, starting seven at wide receiver... Caught 14 passes for 167 yards and one touchdown... Longest reception was a 45-yard touchdown pass on the game's second play at San Jose State... Also rushed for 37 yards on five carries for one touchdown, good for 7.4 yards per carry... Earned a season best 84 all-purpose yards at San Jose State, rushing for 12 on one carry and catching two passes for 72 yards... Caught a season-high three passes for 17 yards against South Dakota State.
2011: Played in the first four games of the season as a reserve receiver before suffering a season ending injury... Served as the primary deep threat for the Aggies, tallying two catches for 88 total yards... Had two 40-plus yard catches in back-to-back games vs. San Diego (42 yards) and at Hawai'i (46 yards).
2010: Redshirted.
LONG BEACH POLY HS '10: Three-time Play it Smart Award winner from the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF)... Also had a 3-star rating from Rivals.com... Team went 14-1 during his junior year, captured Southern Section title and advanced to state championship bowl game... Poly went 13-1 and won its section in 2007 after going 12-2 during his freshman year... Center for International Commerce (CIC) honors student.
PERSONAL: Born in Long Beach, Calif.... Majoring in sociology.. Parents are Robert & Karen Cannon... Both parents were track stars in the 1980s... Indiana Hall of Famer Robert competed in triple jump at 1988 Olympics in Seoul, Karen was a hurdler at that year's Olympic Trials.
