2023: Played in eight games…Had 15 tackles (five solo, 10 assisted)…Had two tackles for loss for a total of seven yards…Had one sack for a total of six yards…Had one quarterback hurry…Had one fumble recovery…Recorded season high four tackles on two occasions (vs. University of Montana on October 7^th and vs. Weber State on October 14^th)…Recorded tackle for loss on two occasions (vs. Eastern Washington on September 23^rd and vs. Weber State)…Recorded sack against Weber State…Recorded fumble recovery against Weber State…Recorded quarterback hurry against Texas A&M-Commerce on August 31st.

2022: ALL-BIG SKY THIRD TEAM… Played in all 11 games and made eight starts… Helped spearhead a defense that ranked third in the conference in scoring defense… The Ags ranked second in the Big Sky in red zone defense… Registered 12 total tackles, two for loss and one sack… Recorded three tackles and a sack against No. 12 Weber State… Posted a season-high five tackles at No. 4 Montana State.

2021 FALL: Started all 12 games at nose tackle… Registered 20 total tackles, including 11 solo stops and three for a loss… Tallied one fumble recovery and blocked a kick… Recorded two solo tackles, including one for a loss and recovered a fumble against Northern Colorado (10/16)… Posted two tackles for loss against Cal Poly (10/23)… Blocked an extra points against Idaho (10/2).

2021 SPRING: BIG SKY CONFERENCE CO-FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR... ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... Finished with 12 total tackles (6 solo, 6 assists) with a 2-yard TFL... Made Aggie debut with 5 stops (2-3-5) with the TFL at Idaho (3/6), making a stop against WR Roshaun Johnson... Finished spring with 2-1-3 tackles chart vs. Eastern Washington (4/3).

LONG BEACH POLY HS ’20: Played four years for coaches Stephen Barbee and Antonio Pierce, helping team to 32-14 overall record and 28-0 mark in Moore League play across four seasons... Earned All-Southern Section Division 2, Orange County Register All-SoCal Team and Long Beach Press Telegram All-Dream Team honors in 2019... Also selected as Moore League Offensive Lineman of the Year and first-team All-Defense as a senior... Member of the Pacific Islander Club... Served as a part-time math tutor for his teammates and volunteered with entities such as Miller Children’s Hospital, Police Academy Community Training and Councilman Dee Andrews’ annual Thanksgiving meal.

PERSONAL: Born in Long Beach, Calif.... Goes by nickname “Chubba," a moniker given to him by a cousin when he was still a baby... Proudest personal accomplishment was running a five-minute mile... Announcers: name is pronounced "CHOO-bah muh-EYE"... Chose UC Davis because "I would rather not make it to the NFL with a Davis degree than any other school."
