Posted 43 solo and 50 assisted tackles, and 3.5 tackles for a loss of 6 yards... Finished seventh in conference for total tackles and third in fumbles recoveries... In his 16-tackle performance in the season's homecoming game, he recorded eight solo and eight assisted tackles... Had three more games with over eleven tackles apiece... Had 3 solo and eight assisted tackles versus Eastern Washington... 2016: Saw action in the final six games of the season, earning starts against Northern Colorado, Portland State and Montana State... Finished with a total of 42 tackles (32 unassisted)... Picked up 7.5 tackles for loss, costing opponents a total of 51 yards... Also recorded 4.5 sacks for 42 yards, highlighted by two sacks against Sacramento State to close the year... The Causeway Classic (11/19) ended 2016 with his best defensive performance of the season with eight unassisted tackles, two assisted tackles and two sacks for a loss of 22 yards... Also had sacks against Southern Utah, Northern Colorado and Portland State.
2015: Played the first three games of the season before missing the remainder of the year with injury... Received medical hardship waiver to retain junior status... Despite limited action, still posted 10 total tackles (5 unassisted)... Sacked Hawaii's Max Wittek for an 8-yard loss on the Rainbow Warriors' opening series, resulting in a fumble that UH recovered... It was his first career sack... Had a one-yard TFL in the game as well and finished with five tackles.
2014: Played in all 11 games, starting back-to-back games against Montana State and Montana... Collected 33 tackles, including 15 solo... Had a career-high nine tackles (7 solo) versus the Bobcats and then added five assisted stops at Grizzly Stadium the next week... Posted four solo tackles at Portland State.
2013: Saw action in all 12 games, finishing freshman season with four total tackles... Had a solo stop at Nevada in second game before picking up three tackles at Northern Colorado.
JAMES LOGAN HS '13: Finished with a 152 tackles, an interception, two fumble recoveries and forced four fumbles during his senior season in 2012... Had 112 tackles as a junior... Two-time team captain and team defensive MVP... Selected to the All-Metro, All-East Bay and Maxpreps All-Northern California first teams as a senior... First-team All-MVAL during junior campaign.... Earned Coaches Award as a sophomore... Was also a pole vaulter and 400-meter run for track and field team.
