2019: Appeared only in first four games before sitting out remainder due to injury... Finished 27-for-92 on the ground, 7-for-81 receiving... Punched in lone TD from a yard out vs. Lehigh (9/14)... Rushed for 41 yards on 11 carries while adding a 13-yard reception at North Dakota State a week later (9/21)... Followed with 6-for-37 rushing against Montana (9/28).
2018: ALL-BIG SKY HONORABLE MENTION selection… Ranked No. 91 in rushing yards (686), No. 108 in rushing yards per game (57.2), No. 114 in rushing TDs (6), and No. 117 in total touchdowns (8) among all FCS players… Scored 12 points on two TDs, both career highs, vs. Northern Arizona (11/3)… Also finished with a career-high 24 rush attempts, three receptions and 56 receiving yards against the Lumberjacks… Ran for a career-high 125 yards against Sacramento State (11/18)… HIs longest rush of the season (69 yards) took place at Eastern Washington (11/10)… Competed in 12 games… Recorded a solo tackle vs. Northern Arizona (11/3)… Ran for 686 yards on 102 carried… Also caught a total of 14 passes for 147 yards… Scored six of his eight touchdowns on the ground.
2017: Saw action in seven games as a true freshman... Finished with 38 carries for 289 yards and two touchdowns... Also finished with six catches for 51 yards... Picked up 29 yards on six carries, and finished with two receptions for 35 yards, including a season-long 23-yard catch at Weber State (9/23)... Recorded the first 100-yard game of his career when he finished with 125, on 12 carries, at Sacramento State (11/18)... Ran for a touchdown in that road Causeway matchup, and ended the day with two catches for eight yards and an assisted tackle... His other touchdown came on a two-yard rush at Idaho State (11/4)... Finished with 340 all-purpose yards, averaging 48.6 per game.
DESERT EDGE HS '17: Led football and track & field teams to Division 2 state championships as a junior... The Scorpions finished with a 44-7 overall record in his four years with the football program... Desert Edge reached the state semifinals in 2013, and appeared in two quarterfinals (2014, 2016)... Played for head coach Rich Wellbrock... American Family Insurance All-USA Arizona All-5A and All-Arizona first team selection in 2016... Finished his career with 4,770 rushing yards and 73 touchdowns, both school records... Key rushing stats: 184-for-1498 (8.1 avg.) and 21 touchdowns as a senior; 174-for-1652 (9.5) and 28 TDs as a junior; 149-for-1598 (10.1) and 23 TDs as a sophomore... PERSONAL: Born in Phoenix, Ariz.... Looking to pursue a career in sports medicine, with an emphasis in physical therapy... Parents are Larry Thomas and Tonya Hollingsworth... Larry played football in college, Tonya played softball... Active in his church's youth ministry... Volunteered with foster care children's organizations since the age of 13, ran a youth camp at Christ Church of the Valley and participated in a buddy program in which he mentored disabled students during while attending Desert Edge HS.
