2014: Named a starter in eight of her 15 appearances in the circle... Ended her sophomore season with a 1-3 record and 3.58 ERA... Struckout 13 batters and allowed the same amount of walks throughout her 33 innings pitched... Threw a season-high 5.1 innings vs. Long Beach State (3/30)... Fanned a season-high three batters at Santa Clara (3/1) and vs. Portland State (3/8).

2013: Appeared in four games and finished with a 0-1 record... Struck out three batters and walked another throughout her 9.2 innings pitched... Posted a 2.17 ERA in her first season at UC Davis... Fanned a season-high two batters vs. Santa Clara (2/17)...Threw a season-high 5.0 innings vs. Michigan (2/23).

NEWARK MEMORIAL HS '12: Won first-team All-Mission Valley Athletic League honors for four straight years... Added All-East Bay second-team nod as a junior... Helped Cougars to MVAL championship in 2009... Played ASA ball for Strike Zone from 2002-12.

PERSONAL: Born in Hayward, California... Has not declared a major but hopes for career in pediatrics... Parents are George & Sandi Chapa... Hopes to travel to all 50 states by the time she's 30... Career highlight was beating the Corona Angels.
