LAS LOMAS HS [apos]10: Captured All-Diablo Foothill Athletic League honors for three straight years, including first-team honors in 2008 and 2009... Tallied 227 kills with 55 aces and 147 digs as a junior (coach didn[apos]t keep stats in her other seasons)... Voted team MVP as a senior... Qualified for North Coast Section meet as a freshman pole vaulter... Played club ball for Xceleration VBC, most recently competing for 18 Blue squad.
PERSONAL: Born in Walnut Creek, Calif.... Majoring in anthropology... Parents are Wayne & Kim Borch... Career highlights were her three 20-plus kill matches as a senior at Las Lomas.... Says few people know she played piano for 12 years.
