Biography

CAREER WATCH: Enters final season with 96 career draw controls, needing 29 to match Katie McMahon (2004-08) for fifth in school history... Matching her 2017 total of 52 would put her fourth ahead of Mary Doyle (143, 2013-16).

2017: Started all 17 games... Still handled draws, with team-best 52 draw controls, but moved from midfielder to attacker... Ranked 6th in MPSF at 3.06 DCs per game... Shot 3-for-3 with 2 assists and 2 ground balls for the year... Most of that came at home vs. Presbyterian: 2-2-4 offense with 2 GBs.

2016: Started all 15 games, primarily handling draws... As such, led team with 42 draw controls with season-best 9 vs. Saint Mary's (3/13)... Also scored a goal (vs. SMC) and had 2 assists (both vs. Denver, 4/3)... Added a ground ball and caused turnover in 13-6 conference win over Pioneers.

2015: Appeared in 11 games with 4 starts... Scored lone goal of season in 10th minute vs. Bryant (3/14)... Had 2 ground balls and 2 draw controls, including one each vs. Stanford (4/22).

CALIFORNIA HS '14: Garnered All-East Bay Athletic League honorable mention for two years, then made first team as a senior... Played for former Aggie defender Rachael Martinez... Selected as school's Outstanding Spring Athlete as a senior... Scored 58 goals with 23 assists in 2014 after combining for 60-24-84 in two previous seasons... Played club ball for Triple Threat and 3D Lacrosse.

PERSONAL: Born in San Ramon, Calif.... Double-majoring in mechanical engineering and aerospace science & engineering... Parents are Brian & Sharon Geary... Older sister, Emily graduated from Colorado in 2015... Career plans, after her engineering, are to open a restaurant.
