2016:  ALL-AMERICA EAST ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL... Named a starter in three of 14 games played... Recorded a season-high five of her 12 shots taken throughout her freshman season vs. LIU Brooklyn (9/25)... Both shots on goal took place that day.

PERSONAL: Born in Veldhoven, the Netherlands... Parents are Dianne and Fons vsn der Meulen... Hanneke and Dirk are her older siblings... Yibbi Jansen and Yasmin Geerlings are the best athletes she has competed against... Would choose softball if she could play another sport at UC Davis... Petting a panda and swimming with dolphins are the top things on her bucket list... You can take away everything she owns except her pictures... Played for Oranje-Zwart MA1 (now known as Orange-Rood) U18 team in Eindhoven's national league... That team finished third in its competition, which equals to fifth place in the nation... Also advanced to the indoor regional championships... Three of her teammated compete for the National A U18 team, two of them play for the national indoor team.
