2019: Appeared in all 24 matches for the Aggies, finishing with 24 goals and 25 assists for 49 points… Attempted 68 shots, averaging 2.83 shots per game and a .353 shooting percentage… Ranked in a tie for fifth in goals, third in assists, and third in shots… Scored a season-high three goals against No. 4 Pepperdine (12/5) in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament, part of a run that saw him score at least one goal in each of the team’s final 10 contests… Added two-goal games six other times… Attempted a season-high seven shots twice against No. 5 California (9/14) and No. 13 Loyola Marymount (9/28), finishing with at least one shot in all but two matches… Assisted on a season-high three goals twice against No. 5 Long Beach State (9/7) and No. 11 UC San Diego — the latter in the championship match of the WWPA Tournament… Finished with a season-high two steals in back-to-back matches against Loyola Marymount (11/7) and UC San Diego (11/9) to close out the regular season.

2018: Appeared in 26 matches for the Aggies… Finished with 22 goals and 15 assists for 37 points… Attempted 54 shots, finishing the year with a .407 shooting percentage and averaging 2.1 shots per game… Scored at least one goal in 15 matches, including a season-high three goals in a win at California Baptist on Sept. 22… Also had multiple goals in five other matches… Scored in five straight contests from Sept. 15-30… Swiped a season-high four steals in the WWPA Tournament opening round against Concordia (Nov. 16) and added two more the next day against Loyola Marymount in the semifinals… Added a season-high three assists in that semifinal against the Lions and finished with two assists against Concordia (Nov. 16).

2017: Appeared in all 29 games... Scored 23 goals with 47 assists and 15 steals... Had team-best 13 assists in the seven WWPA games... Posted hat tricks at Air Force (9/30) and vs. Bucknell at Julian Fraser tourney (10/22)... Tallied season-high 3 assists on four occasions, three of which were conference wins: Air Force (9/30), Concordia (10/15), Saint Francis Brooklyn (10/21) and UC San Diego (11/4).

2016: Played in 20 games for 154.5 minutes as a reserve... Scored 5 goals with 8 assists and 10 steals... Hit 2 goals in 17 minutes vs. George Washington at Bruno Classic (9/4)... Opened Aggie Roundup with 3-assist performance vs. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (9/17).

2015: Redshirted.

HURON HS ’15: First Aggie water polo to hail from the Wolverine State... Third-team All-American as a senior, following first-team nod as a junior... Twice made all-state first team... Scored 165 goals with 119 assists in 2013... Also a NISCA All-American in both freestyle relays... Four-time selection to the USAWP National Team selection camp and two-year competitor at the East-West Championships... Played for Del Mar WPC in 2014 and 2015.

PERSONAL: Born in Ann Arbor, Mich.... Managerial economics major... Parents are Patrick & Diane Tamblyn... Older sister, Annie, was an All-Big Ten swimmer at Wisconsin... Why he chose UC Davis: “the water polo team is on an upward trajectory and I want to be a part of it.”
