2024: Played in 20 games (20 starts, 1,820 minutes)... Scored one goal with three assists (five points)... All-Big West Honorable Mention... Part of eight shutouts... Played every minute this season.
2023: Played and started all 19 matches for a total of 1,681 minutes…Had one goal and two assists on three shots (two on goal)…Scored goal against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on November 2nd…Had two assists against University of San Francisco on August 27th…had one shot on three occasions (UC Riverside on October 12th, UC Santa Barbara on October 22nd, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on November 2nd)…had one shot on goal on two occasions (UC Riverside on October 12th, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on November 2nd)…played a season high 90 minutes in 17 matches
2022: Played in all 18 games starting 16 totaling 1401 minutes played, as a defender Mayo was instrumental in a UC Davis backline that only allowed 18 goals in Big West competition, put up three total shots with one shot on goal vs San Francisco University (8/28).
2021: Appeared in 11 games, making two starts...Registered a shot on goal in her collegiate debut against New Mexico (8/19)...Made her first career start at Idaho State (9/5)...Contributed to four clean sheets.
2020: Season canceled by the Big West Conference due to COVID-19, student-athletes will not lose a year of eligibility and maintain their athletic standing for the 2021-22 academic year.
AMADOR VALLEY HS ’20: Scored 11 goals and collected 14 assists throughout her high school career as a member of the team’s backline… Also earned three lacrosse letters… Four-time North Coast Section Scholar-Athlete… Two-year member of Amador Valley Journalism; she served as the editor and producer of the school’s Tuesday TV show throughout the 2018-19 academic year and editor-in-chief (one of two selected from a deep candidate pool) of AVTV the following year… Video Production Club treasurer in 2018-19 and vice president in 2019-20… Top five selection, during the National Journalism Convention, in a competition featuring news broadcasting packages… Senior class secretary… Member of the publicity committee for Mr. Amador, the school’s non-profit club that raises money for George Mark Children’s House… Member of the Mr. Amador Tech Committee (2019-20).
PERSONAL: The youngest of four children... Her uncle, also attended UC Davis… Five of her relatives were student-athletes or competed professionally: Her grandfather, (basketball); her father (Miami (OH), tennis); mother (Cal State East Bay, soccer); sister (Saint Mary’s, soccer) and brother (Cal, football)… Sister also competes professionally in mixed martial arts for Bellator… Bella competed on the following club teams: Pleasanton Rage (11 years), Livermore Fusion (four years) and Tenacity Elite Lacrosse (six years)… Named 2020 Fusion Women’s Soccer Player of the Year… Also earned Under Armour All-American West Team accolades… Most people do not know she was the editor-in-chief and led her high school’s news broadcasting program… Facing life’s challenges and persevering are her proudest personal accomplishments… Julia Leontini (Stanford women’s soccer) is the best athlete she competed against… The Dallas Cowboys’ indoor practice facility is her favorite facility that hosted one of her competitions… Her journey to the 2018 NorCal State Cup Finals, where her team was an underdog in all 10 games played and allowed zero goals throughout that event, is her career sports highlight… Kobe Bryant is her sports hero… Non-sports hero is her dad… Playing soccer at the professional level and attending nursing school are her career plans… Exercising, cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends are her favorite hobbies… Live abroad for at least six months, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland, teaching and leading others in a positive manner are the top items on her bucket list… Chose UC Davis because of the amazing coaching staff, its goals for the program, and the college town/campus environment.
