Had 6.5 tackles for losses of 33 yards, including 2.0 sacks for 15 yards... Tallied 8 tackles (5 solos, 3 assists) with 3-for-14 TFLs in home win vs. Iona, then followed with 7 tackles (6-1-7) with an 8-yard sack vs. North Dakota a week later... The latter performance earned him both team and GWC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
2007: Played in all 11 games as a reserve linebacker... Posted 14 solo tackles and 17 assists for 31 total stops... Enjoyed particularly strong second half, tallying 6 tackles (4 solos, 2 assists) vs. Cal Poly, 8 (2-6) vs. Southern Utah and 5 (4-1) vs. South Dakota State... Had one sack for the year, a key 12-yarder vs. Josh Johnson in season-ending win vs. San Diego... Posted first career interception vs. Sacramento State, picking off Jason Smith[apos]s attempt for an 8-yard return.
2006: Co-winner (with Greg Denham) of team[apos]s GEORGE BELENIS AWARD as outstanding redshirt... Selected as team[apos]s Scout Defense Player of the Week after Cal Poly game.
AQUINAS HS [apos]06: Ranked 2nd in California in rushing as a senior, totalling 3,006 yards with 30 touchdowns... Averaged 214.7 ypg and 10.5 yards per carry... On defense, earned 131 total tackles (80 solos, 51 assists)... Also had 2.5 sacks and a fumble recovery... Selected as both Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year for the Christian League... Also named Southern Section Division 12 Offensive MVP... Led team to 13-1 record and CIF-SS Division 12 title... Earned Presidential Academic Award, Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors and was a National Honor Society member.
