2024: Competed in all 35 total regular and postseason matches for UC Davis… Playing exclusively at the first flight… Teamed with Kylie Miller to lead the Aggies with an overall record of 21-14… Alongside Miller, the pair received Big West Honors for the fourth-straight year… Had a mid-season 7 game win streak … McGuire finished her season with 75 career victories, maintaining her status as the record holder for the most individual dual victories in their career… Selected to All-Big West Second Team.
2023: Competed in all 32 total regular and postseason matches for UC Davis… Playing at the first and second flights… Teamed with Kylie Miller to lead the Aggies with an overall record of 22-8, and a new school record for most pair victories in a season… Finished with a team best, and new school record, for most season dual-victories at the No.2 spot with a 20-5 record and a 2-3 mark at the No.1 spot… Alongside Miller, the pair received Big West Honors for the third-straight year and is the only Aggie to be selected to the first-team on two occasions (First with Paloma Bowman in 2021)... Their record also won them the 2023 AVCA Top Flight Award… Started the season 9-0, winning in 18 straight sets, and ended the season on a five-game win streak…Her season included three-ranked set victories, one against #10 Hawai’i, and while paired with Finley Rollins, the duo nabbed wins against #18 Tulane and #15 Washington… Individually, McGuire went 24-8 on the season for a new UC Davis record for most dual victories in a season and is one of five Aggies to reach 20 set-wins… She is now the current UC Davis record holder for most individual dual victories in their career with 52.
2022: Competed in all 30 regular season and postseason matches for the Aggies… Playing at the first and second flights of the lineup… Named to the All-Big West Second Team… McGuire had an individual record of 13-17 going; 9-16 at the one’s and 4-1 at the two’s… She secured three ranked-set victories against #11 Long Beach State (3/25, 4/1, 4/30) and another against #8 Stanford (4/3).
2021: Teamed with Paloma Bowman to lead the Aggies with a 15-12 overall record at the top two spots in the lineup… Finished a team-best 14-9 record at the ones and a 1-3 mark at the twos… Became only the second UC Davis pair to win All-Big West honors (Lauren Matias and Jane Seslar were honorable mention in 2019) and the first Aggie pair to be named to the first team… Finished the year with wins in her final five head-to-head matches from April 18-30 — and 11 of her final 13 — to close out the year, including wins over CSU Bakersfield and Long Beach State at the ones at the Big West Championships… Added a pair of three-match winning streaks from April 2-3 and April 9-11… Also posted wins over pairs from a receiving votes Saint Mary’s team, as well as wins against pairs from No. 11 California, No. 13 Arizona, and No. 10 Pepperdine… The 15 wins are the most in a single season by any UC Davis individual or pair, regardless of spot in the lineup, while the 14 wins at the ones are also a single-season school record… Joined Bowman as the Big West Pairs Team of the Week on April 12 after splitting a pair of matches against No. 10 Pepperdine and posting wins over San Jose State and Saint Mary’s… Tied for the team lead alongside Bowman and the pairing of Megan Luly and Heather Reed with five three-set matches on the year.
BENET ACADEMY ’20
Helped lead the Redwings’ indoor squad to a 41-1 overall record, a first-place league finish, and a first-place 4A state finish, as a senior… Finished with 172 kills, a team-high 39 aces, and 74 digs, in her final prep indoor season… Competed for Team One Volleyball Club in Aurora, Ill., for six years… Member of the National Honor Society and an Illinois State Scholar.
