2024: Competed in 15 of the 35 total regular and postseason matches for UC Davis, playing at the fifth flight of the lineup… At the No.5 spot, Braun individually and alongside Kate O’Steen had a 2-1 season record… The pair captured set-victories against Causeway rival Sacramento State and Santa Clara University, with their only loss coming from #19 Pepperdine.

PALM DESERT HS ‘22
Braun played two years of indoor volleyball as a right-side hitter for the Aztecs… In her sophomore season she helped the Aztecs become the 2019 Desert Empire League Champions, 2019 Division III Girls Volleyball Southern Regional 2nd Place Team and were 2019 State Semi-Finalists… Her senior year she played beach volleyball as a blocker… She was team captain for the Aztecs beach team, started in the first flight and went undefeated all season… She played for the Danger Beach Volleyball Club for one season.
PERSONAL
Parents are Chris and Katja... Has one brother named Benjamin... Father was a Volleyball player at Stanford, and played for the USA National Team as well as Le Racing Club de France... Something most people don't know about her is she has German and American citizenship but she was born in France... Her proudest personal accomplishment was being selected for Food Network Star Kids...Her sports hero is Laura Ludwig and her non-sports hero is her dad... Her career plans are to move to Europe and market her mom's French wine brand in Paris, France... She chose UC Davis because UC Davis is one of the best schools in the world for winemaking and being able to play Division 1 beach volleyball at the same time is a dream, the town of Davis itself is so cozy and she felt immediately welcomed.
