WEST VALLEY HS [apos]09: Twice won All-Northern Athletic League first-team honors in football and baseball... Named to All-Northern Section first team and all-state second team as a senior lineman... Earned All-Redding Record Searchlight nods in 2007 and 2008... Starred at catcher on baseball diamond, batting .345 and .354 in his final two seasons... Earned U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete.

PERSONAL: Born in Santa Barbara, Calif.... Majoring in civil engineering... Parents are Donald & Cammie Doiron... Career highlight was beating rival Enterprise HS after the Hornets had bragged to the media that they would only lose 'if they missed the bus'... Best athletes he faced were members of the Starmaker Redlegs, a nationally ranked 17-and-under baseball club.
