CENTRAL VALLEY HS [apos]09: Earned second-team all-state honors as a senior in addition to All-Northern Section, All-Northern Athletic League and All-Record Searchlight nods... Won All-NAL and second-team All-Northern Section distinction in 2007... Also starred inn wrestling, finishing 2nd at sections and earning state tournament berth in 2008, his first year as a wrestler... Followed that with 5th-place CIF-NS finish as a senior heavyweight... Won Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award and Kiwanis Outstanding Student accolades.

PERSONAL: Born in Redding, Calif.... Human development major... Parents are Dan Cain and Susan Scott... Claims three career highights: leading football team to section banner in 2005, qualifying for state wrestling tourney as a first-year wrestler in 2008, helping baseball team to 32-2 mark and CIF-NS title in 2009.
