2011: ALL-GREAT WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... Started all 11 games at middle linebacker... Was the Aggies[apos] top tackler in 2011, recording a total of 68 tackles (44 solos, 24 assists)... Filled up the stat sheet with 6.5 tackles for losses of 15 yards and 1.0 sack for a one yard loss... Tied for a team-high in interceptions, hauling in two pickoffs and adding four return yards... Had two passes defended... Forced one fumble and recovered one fumble for the season... Reached double digits in tackles in a win over Cal Poly, finishing with 10 for the game (6-4-10)... Had nine or more tackles on three separate occasions... His one sack for the season came at Sacramento State in the fourth quarter, helping UC Davis hold on for the win... Received a medical redshirt from his sophomore season at Utah State.
2010: Winner of team[apos]s JIM FERRIER AWARD as outstanding transfer... Finished 3rd on team with 66 total tackles (33 solos, 33 assists)... Also had 4.5 tackles for losses of 9 yards, plus a forced fumble and fumble recovery... Posted season-best 8 stops on three occasions: 2-6-8 at Weber State, 4-4-8 at San Jose State and 5-3-8 vs. Southern Utah... Talled 1.5 TFLs (for 5 yards) against Spartans... Hit Cal Poly[apos]s Jake Romanelli early in the 3rd quarter, forcing a fumble and recovering it at the Aggie 39-yard line.
UTAH STATE: Played in just 3 games as a sophomore, but tallied 26 tackles (9 solos, 17 assists) with 2.5 tackles for losses of 15 yards in that limited action... Suffered a season-ending injury in that 3rd game against Utah... Among NCAA tackles leaders at the time... Led Aggies with 11 stops (3-8-11) vs. Oregon... Had 5 tackles (3-2-5) as a freshman.... Earned Academic All-Western Athletic Conference in 2007.
ELK GROVE HS [apos]07: Earned first-team All-Delta Valley Conference and Sacramento Bee All-Metro honorable mention as a senior... Ranked 3rd on team with 91 tackles (69 solos, 22 assists)... Also had two interceptions and a 43-yard fumble recovery... Rushed for 777 yards and 5 TDs on offense... Won second-team All-DVC nod as a junior, tallying 87 tackles with 6.0 sacks and a pick.
