2021 FALL PRESEASON:
• PRESEASON ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE
2021 SPRING: ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM... Led Aggie D-linemen with 18 tackles (8 solos, 10 assists) while adding 2.0 TFLs (both sacks), 2 QB hurries, a forced fumble and a blocked kick... Both sacks came in home opener vs. Cal Poly (3/20)... Stuffed Kevin Ryan’s 47-yard FG attempt early in 2nd quarter against Idaho State (3/27)... Followed that with season-high 6 tackles (2-4-6) and a hurry against Eric Barriere in finale with Eastern Washington (4/3).
2019: ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE HONORABLE MENTION... Started all 12 games at defensive tackle... Ranked 5th on team, tops among D-line with 49 tackles (35 solos, 14 assists)... Also had 6.0 TFLs, including 4.0 sacks for 20 yards... Added a pass breakup, a fumble recovery and team-leading 7 hurries... Enjoyed best overall game against Weber State: 11 tackles (9-2-11) with a hurry and a 5-yard sack of Jake Constantine near the end of the 1st quarter.
2018: Competed in four games… Three of his 11 tackles were solo… Recorded a tackle for loss at Stanford (9/15)… Also played at San José State (8/30), vs. San Diego (9/8) and at Cal Poly (10/20).
2017: Competed in 10 games... Finished with 35 total tackles, 14 solo and 21 assisted... Recorded four tackles for loss, costing opponents six yards... Two of those tackles for loss came against Cal Poly (10/28)... Finished with 11 total tackles (four solo), a sack and a fumble recovery against the Mustangs... Recorded quarterback hurries against Portland State (9/16) and Southern Utah (11/11).
2016: Saw action in all 11 games, earning starts in five... Finished with 10 tackles; a season-high three took place at Wyoming (9/17)... Recorded one tackle for a loss of five yards versus Sacramento State (11/21).
MENLO-ATHERTON HS '16: Earned All-Peninsula Athletic League first team, Cal-Hi Sports All-State second team, Peninsula Athletic League Defensive Player of the Year and Chronicle All-Metro Team honors as a senior... Posted 82 total tackles (41 solo), including 10 for a loss and four sacks... Collected a season-high 12 stops in a 17-14 win over Sacred Heart Prep HS... Finished with two sacks against Terra Nova HS...
All-San Jose Mercury News first team honors were bestowed during his senior season... Two-way starters for Menlo-Atherton... Earned all-league,
All-San Jose Mercury News and
All-Daily Journal accolades as a junior ... Finished his three-year varsity career with 187 total tackles, including 12.0 TFLs... Posted 76 total stops as a junior.
PERSONAL: Born in Hayward, Calif... Parents are Fredrick and Angela Rodgers... Named Menlo-Atherton HS Scholar for five semesters... Member of school's Black Student Union... 2015 National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Award winner.
