2018: GOOGLE CLOUD ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT FIRST TEAM selection… Of his 13 games played, he was named a starter against San Diego (9/8), at Stanford (9/15) and versus Idaho (9/22)… Collected a career-high two pass breakups at San José State (8/30)… Earned his other two breakups against Idaho (9/22) and Sacramento State (11/17)… Of his 43 total tackles, 21 were solo… Forced a fumble at Cal Poly (10/20)… Also finished his senior season with four tackles for loss (for 11 combined yards) and a sack, which resulted in a loss of six yards for San José State (8/30).
2017: BIG SKY CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... BIG SKY SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK (SEPT. 18)... Played nine games as a junior... Finished with 32 tackles, 18 solo and 14 assisted... Matched a career-high when he finished with 10 tackles at Portland State (9/16)... The game also marked his best defensive performance of the season, thanks to a pair of blocked punts... Those set up two UC Davis drives that each ended with a touchdown... That performance earned him Big Sky Special Teams Player of the Week (Sept. 18) accolades.
2016: Competed in all 11 games... Named a starter at Montana State (11/12)... Finished 48th among all defensive players in conference in tackles per game... Totaled 55 tackles (39 unassisted) as a defensive back, for an average of 5.0 per game... Recorded a sack, for a loss of nine yards, at Southern Utah (10/8)... Forced a fumble at Oregon (9/3) and intercepted a pass against Southern Oregon (9/10).
2015: Played in eight games, earning starts at Hawai'i (9/19) and at Sacramento State (11/21)... Finished with 32 tackles, including 22 solo; the latter ranked him tied for eighth on the team... Posted a season-high 10 tackles (which included eight solo and a TFL) against rival Cal Poly (11/14)... Finished with six tackles (4 solo) at UH and five stops at Sacramento State... Recovered a fumble by South Dakota's Eric Shufford early in the third quarter and returned it 15 yards to USD 26... Ensuing drive ended with a TD by RB Manusamoa Luuga... Forced fumbles at UH and vs. Southern Utah (10/24)... Tied safety Darryl Graham with a team-high two forced fumbles.
BOULDER CREEK HS '15: Named to the 2014 Arizona Football Coaches Association Top 25 (Super 25), AFCA Div. I All-State first team, AZCentral.com and American Family All-USA first-team defense, in addition to earning All-Div. I Defensive Player of the Year and Defensive Back of the Year recognition... Other first-team honors came from All-Gridiron Arizona and Scout 24-7 Football Arizona Division I when he was named to each outlet's all-region teams... Earned those accolades after garnering 108 tackles (67 solo) and eight interceptions as a senior... Ended his high school career with 217 tackles, 11 picks and 17 passes defended... Also caused four fumbles in 2014... 2014 National Football Foundation Valley of the Sun Chapter High School Scholar-Athlete of the Year.. Sports360AZ Div.
