DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis senior center Zaire Collier has been named a nominee for the 2026 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, which recognizes college football student-athletes for their commitment to community service, academic achievement and leadership.

A 2025 All-Big Sky Second Team selection, Collier has made 27 consecutive starts at center over the past two seasons, including four NCAA Division I Football Championship playoff games and two Causeway Cup victories. He was also recently ranked No. 35 among the nation's top returning FCS offensive linemen by HERO Sports.

In 2025, Collier helped anchor an offensive line that powered the nation's 27th-ranked rushing offense and 12th-ranked passing offense. The Aggies rushed for 2,393 yards, including 1,121 from Jordan Fisher.

Collier is one of 162 student-athletes nominated across all levels of college football. The final team, featuring 22 student-athletes and one honorary head coach, will be announced in September.

UC Davis opens fall camp July 29 and kicks off the 2026 season Aug. 29 at Portland State. The Aggies host Stetson in their home opener Sept. 19 at UC Davis Health Stadium.
