16 Aggies Recognized on the National Collegiate Equestrian Association All-Academic Roster

DAVIS, Calif. — The National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) has announced the 2025-26 All-Academic teams and Academic Honor Roll, recognizing student-athletes who have reached the highest standards of excellence in both the arena and the classroom. Among those honored on Wednesday were 16 Aggies, selected by the NCEA Committee for their standout achievements throughout the season.

To be awarded the distinguished title of All-Academic First Team, the riders must have competed in a minimum of 70 percent of their school's meets, not including demo or exhibition rides while earning a cumulative GPA of 3.5 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters, respectively. For the Aggies, Avery Adamson, Mya Clader, Anna Donovan, Katya Dundas, Lauren Kolbe, and Nicole Shroyer earn this accolade.

For the Second Team squad, the riders must have competed in a minimum of 60 percent of their school's meets, not including demo or exhibition rides with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full-time classroom engagement. Senior Mylea Trimble represents the Aggies with this distinction.

Honorable mentions must have competed in a minimum of 50 percent of their school's meets, not including demo or exhibition rides and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0. For the Aggies, Sophia Blake, Sabine Close, and Eliza Plum earn the nod.

The NCEA Academic Honor Roll recognizes top student-athletes who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher while maintaining full-time enrollment. This year, 13 Aggies earned a spot on the list, including several riders who secured dual honors across both the All-Academic teams and the Honor Roll. Joining the group for their academic excellence are Alethea Bergad, Aya Clear, Blair Conlan, Maddie Gleason, Kristen Hwang, and Lola Sullivan.

Across the 23 NCEA institutions, a total of 132 student-athletes were named to the First Team, while 38 earned Second Team honors.
