THE SHORT STORY: UC Davis baseball fell 7-1 to Sacramento State on Tuesday night at Dobbins Stadium, dropping the midweek Causeway matchup at home. Sam Harry led off the game with a solo home run and the Hornets pulled away with a four-run fifth to take control.
Braydon Wooldridge drove in the Aggies' lone run on a third-inning sacrifice fly.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sacramento State's Sam Harry led off the game with a solo home run to center to make it 1-0.
- UC Davis tied the game in the bottom of the third when Wooldridge lifted a sacrifice fly to center, scoring Jaxon Murphy.
- The Hornets broke through with four runs in the top of the fifth, starting with a Jace Jeremiah walk and a Cameron Sewell single, Jeremiah scoring on a passed ball, a Brett Ott RBI single, a Harry RBI triple and a wild pitch that brought Harry home.
- Jeremiah added a solo home run to left in the sixth to push the lead to 6-1.
- Sacramento State tacked on one more in the ninth on a Harry RBI single.
