2026: Played in 22 games with 16 starts in his freshman season, splitting time between catcher and the infield... Hit .274 with 17 hits and four doubles over 62 at-bats... Drove in three runs and scored seven while drawing six walks and getting hit by a pitch twice... Posted a .347 on-base percentage and a .339 slugging percentage with 13 strikeouts... Carried a six-game hit streak as a season high... Turned in his top day with a 2-for-4, one-RBI line in UC Davis's 11-9 win at Nevada (April 7)... Recorded a 2-for-2 day in a 5-4 win over UC Santa Barbara (March 14)... Added an RBI in an 8-4 win at Fresno State (April 20)... Behind the plate, threw out eight of 22 attempted base stealers and handled 139 chances with one error for a .993 fielding percentage.

DAVIS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: Standout catcher for the Blue Devils in the Sierra Foothill League... Recognized as a First Team All-League selection in senior season and a Second Team All-League selection as a junior... Anchored the lineup during his final year with a .410 batting average, .620 slugging percentage, and four home runs... Helped guide the Blue Devils to a second-place league finish and a T-3 section finish in 2025.

PERSONAL: Comes from a family with deep roots at UC Davis, including his mother (Kimberly Hood), uncle (Chris Burnham), and grandfather (Andrew Burnham)... Has two sisters, Harper and Nola... Enjoys watching Ford V Ferrari and chose UC Davis because he grew up watching the team and appreciated the supportive coaching staff.
