HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the third court of doubles, the pair of Gallaway and Isabella Bringas took their opponents to the brink, but would ultimately fall 5-7.
- Both Marakhtanova and Wong made short work in their courts, with Wong taking set one by four points.
- Gallaway's productive day continued with a hard fought 7-6 set two that gave her team their third point of the day.
- Wins in courts two and five gave the Titans two more points and tied the match at three heading into the final competition.
- After dropping set one, Hu bounced back with a 6-2 win in the second to set up a winner take all game.
- Despite a resilient effort, Hu would fall 1-6 in the third set, leading to the 4-3 win for Fullerton.
