Naomi Kalanetra hit her fourth home run in five games to help drive UC Davis softball to a victory in the series finale at UC San Diego to wrap up its Big West weekend.

LEADING OFF
HOW IT HAPPENED
- UC San Diego got on the board in the first, getting a solo home run with one out, but that after that Grimes settled in, allowing no runs over the remainder of the game
- In the third, Kalanetra took the first pitch she saw over the center field wall, tying the game with her sixth home run of the season
- With two outs in the fourth, Grimes allowed the last Triton to reach base as the Aggie pitcher sat down the final 10 batters she saw, allowing for the Aggies to eventually take the lead
- In the sixth, Polli doubled to lead off and scored on an error to give the Aggies a late 2-1 lead
- Dethlefson, after walking and stealing second, along with Reeves, who was knocked in by a Phillips double, each scored to pad the Aggie lead out to 4-1
- And with yet another 1-2-3 inning from Grimes, the Aggies secured its Saturday afternoon victory on their way out of San Diego
