IRVINE, Calif. — Following a 22-win regular season, UC Davis women's basketball sees three of its players land on the All-Big West Conference teams, with
Ryann Bennett,
Nya Epps, and
Megan Norris making the cut. Norris finds herself as a First Team and All-Defensive honoree, Bennett makes it on the Second Team, and Epps qualifies as an Honorable Mention and All-Defensive player.
Megan Norris - All-Big West First Team & All-Defensive Team
Following a season of many historical accolades, Norris caps off her career with her first-ever All-Conference First-Team and All-Defensive selection.
The first Aggie to average a double-double in a season (12.3 points, 12.6 rebounds), Norris elevated her status as one of the best to ever play for the blue and gold in 2026, setting the school record with the most rebounds in a single game, season, and career.
Defensively, her 45 blocks rank her second in the Big West, while her 144 career blocks place her fifth on the Aggie all-time list.
Following a 29 rebound performance against UC San Diego that set the single-game record for the Aggies, Norris garnered national attention with a U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Player of the Week award on Feb. 17. She was also named Big West Player of the Week twice.
Ryann Bennett - All-Big West Second Team
A former All-Conference Freshman Team honoree, the sophomore superstar adds a Second-Team appearance to her resume after leading the Aggies with 15.3 points per game, good for eighth in the Big West.
Throughout the season, Bennett posted a number of career-highs across multiple statistical categories, going for 21 points in the first two contests of the season to earn her the conference's first Player of the Week honor on Nov. 10. Against Cal State Fullerton on Jan. 15, she became the first Aggie in five years to post 10 assists in a single game for her first career double-double.
Nya Epps - All-Big West Honorable Mention & All-Defensive Team
For the second straight season, Epps has been named as an All-Big West Honorable Mention, making the honor as a senior after averaging 13 points per game throughout the regular season.
Throughout the 2026 season, Epps has posted the best numbers of her career across the board, scoring over 350 points while recording over 100 rebounds for the first time.
In a conference matchup against Cal State Bakersfield on January 3, she erupted for a career-high 28 points on 8-for-11 (73%) shooting.
In addition to her offensive prowess, Epps also proved herself defensively with her second straight All-Defensive Team honor, ranking third on the team with 34 steals, including a season-high four steals in a comeback against Hawai'i on Dec. 4.
