The short story:Â Amelia Moneymaker posted her second 9.900 (beam) of the season, but despite the UC Davis gymnastic all-arounder once again breaking 39.000 the Aggies fell at Sacramento State in a dual meet at The Nest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UC Davis won on beam thanks to Moneymaker and Cady Chiu's top marks, scoring 48.650
- With a winning mark of 39.300, Moneymaker set a season-high in the all-around and added to her school record 20 career all-around performances of at least 39.000
- Moneymaker's 9.900 on beam was her second mark of 9.900 on beam this season and her sixth time scoring a career-high on beam and it won her the event
- Moneymaker added a second-place finish on floor with a mark of 9.850 and she won vault and bars with 9.775 marks on both events
- Chiu put together a solid meet, scoring a career-high 9.850 on beam (finishing second), while adding 9.675 on floor
- Avah Reichow finished fifth on floor with a mark of 9.775, while Chloe Gann's 9.700 on vault placed her fourth
- McKenna Knecht performed a bar routine of 9.650 to finish fourth while Jehaan Poonja rounded out the top five on bars with a 9.625
