HOW IT HAPPENED

Ella Ackerman won the 400-yard IM in 4:15.47 to claim the conference title and 20 points.

Zoe Childers (6th, 4:18.55) and Brynn Graham (7th, 4:20.60) added key points in the same event.

McKenna Valenta placed third in the 200 freestyle (1:47.71), while Gabi Bellin finished fifth (1:48.54).

Emily Scheberies earned a third-place finish in the 100 backstroke with a time of 54.13.

In the 100 butterfly, Naomi Boegholm placed ninth (54.42) and Scheberies added a 14th-place finish (55.87).

The 400-yard medley relay team finished fourth in 3:40.01, earning 30 points.

In 3-meter diving, Mackenzie Young led the Aggies with a sixth-place score of 274.30, followed closely by Katherine Lim in seventh (274.25) and Leila Busch in eighth (248.05).
