DAVIS, Calif. — On the heels of a dominant 16-3 home victory over Minnesota Crookston, UC Davis standouts Ada Hirschfeld and Lauren Kolbe have been named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Riders of the Week for their performances on Friday, Feb. 6.

Hirschfeld secured her second weekly conference honor of the season for her performance in Reining, where she helped the Aggies complete a 5-0 sweep. Riding Vinny, Hirschfeld posted a discipline-high 72 and earned Most Outstanding Player (MOP) honors, outscoring her opponent by a four-point margin. Hirschfeld's precision was instrumental in the Aggies' perfect run through the Reining discipline to help secure the team win.

Kolbe earned her fourth weekly conference honor of the season after headlining another 5-0 shutout in Fences. Aboard Otis, she delivered a field-high score of 88—the highest of the day—to secure her point and earn MOP honors. Kolbe also contributed to the Aggies' success on the Flat, where she posted an 87 to defeat her opponent by an impressive 25 points and help finalize the 16-3 team victory.
