DAVIS, Calif. — Entering its first year under head coach Ari Homayun and its last in the Big West, UC Davis beach volleyball has announced the slate for the 2026 season. 

"I'm eager to get the season started." Says Coach Homayun. "The team has been working really hard these past few weeks to be sharp and ready for competition and I can't wait to put that hard work to the test. Our schedule is jam packed, and I'm stoked to get it started in Arizona!"

The Aggies will start the season with the first of four tournaments at the Canyon Classic hosted by Grand Canyon. Arizona State and Arizona will be first up for Davis on Friday, Feb. 20 before the weekend wraps up with TCU and Colorado Mesa the next day.

Davis will then return to California for the Battle of the Bay against Sacramento State, Cal, Stanford, and Saint Mary's on Feb. 27-28. Two weeks later, they head down to the Central Coast for the Mustang Roundup hosted by Cal Poly, where they will take on Oregon, CSUN, Grand Canyon, and Arizona.

The Big West Challenge hosted by Long Beach State marks the last tournament for the Aggies. Cal Poly, Long Beach, Sacramento State, Hawai'i, Cal State Bakersfield, and CSUN will be on the docket from Mar. 21-22.

UC Davis stays in Southern California for a pair of matches on Mar. 24 against Vanguard and Concordia Irvine before heading back to the Bay to face Saint Mary's, Stanford, Cal, and San Jose State in Berkeley and Stanford from Apr. 1-4.

Following one last road weekend in Stockton against San Jose State, Cal State Bakersfield, Pacific, and Saint Mary's from Apr. 11-12, the Aggies wrap up the regular season at home with pairs of games against Sacramento State and Santa Clara from Apr. 17-18. The matchups on Apr. 18 will also serve as Senior Day.

The 2026 Big West Beach Volleyball Championships will be held by Cal Poly from Apr. 23-24.
