The Scholar All-America program recognizes collegiate swimming and diving teams across the country at every level of competition, including NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, as well as NAIA, junior college, and community college institutions. The honor highlights the sport's wide-reaching academic impact throughout higher education.

Overall, 709 teams and 16,421 student-athletes earned Scholar All-America distinction for their academic success. Eligibility required each program to achieve a cumulative team grade point average of at least 3.00 during the Fall 2025 semester, demonstrating a strong balance between academic performance and athletic competition.
