DAVIS, Calif. – For the first time in program history, No. 11 UC Davis football will be showcased on the main linear ESPN network when they open the 2025 season at 4 p.m. PT against No. 12 Mercer in Montgomery, Ala., on Aug. 23 for the first of three nationally broadcast games that the Aggies will be featured on this season.
Â
When the Aggies travel to Washington on Sept. 6 they will find themselves on the BIG10 Network with an 8 p.m. kick while the trip to Bozeman, Mont., to face the defending Big Sky Champion No. 2 Montana State Bobcats will be picked up by an ESPN linear network. The time and network for the game in Bozeman will be announced at a later date.
Â
UC Davis landed on ESPN2 last season when they traveled to Missoula, Mont., for a night game against Montana. It was the first time the Aggies had ever been on a linear ESPN network and only the second time they had been nationally broadcast.
Â
The three nationally broadcast games is a program record, as UC Davis will be shown across the nation for nearly a third of its games this season.
