The short story: UC Davis men's tennis delivered an impressive performance, sweeping American River College in a dominant 7-0 victory to secure their eighth straight win of the season. 

COURTSIDE 

• The Aggies took the early lead, grabbing the doubles point. 

• Every single Angie took home a singles win. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Aggies opened the morning with doubles. Both pairs, Lucas Bollinger and Kaveh Taheri, and Sam De Vries and Rithvik Katpelly, won their matches, putting the Aggies up by a point. 

• Both teams decided to play out the last doubles match. Ivan Savkin and Eduardo Gonzalez took their match to an exciting tiebreaker and ultimately came out on top to sweep ARC in doubles. 

• On to singles, where junior Lucas Bollinger won his match by the retirement of his ARC opponent. 

• Sophomore Gonzales also won due to his opponent retiring because of an injury. 

• With the Ags up 3-0, they only needed one more match to clinch. Sophomore Ivan Savkin dominated his match, giving the Aggies the team win. 

• Both teams again decided to play out the remainder of the singles games. 

• Next to finish was freshman Perry DiGiuli,o who took his opponent down in two dominating sets. 

• Kaveh Taheri would finish next. Taheri dominated both sets, getting the Ags to 6-0 on the day. 

• Last to finish was freshman Rithvik Katpelly, who won his first set and took his second set into a tiebreaker, ultimately coming out on top. The final score was a clean 7-0 sweep by the Aggies.
