The short story: Tyler Howard continued to swing it for the Aggies, going 2-for-4 and extending his reached base streak to 11 games, but UC Davis fell to Hawai'i, 16-0 Sunday afternoon. The Aggies were shut out in a combined effort from Liam O'Brien, Sebastian Gonzalez, and Anthony Andrews, while the Hawai'i offense erupted for 16 runs with 16 hits.

FIRST PITCH
- Howard stayed hot with two singles, his fourth multi-hit game in seven contests
- Riley Acosta reached base twice, going 1-for-2 with a base on balls and also threw out one Hawai'i runner stealing
- In total, five other Aggies recorded hits on the day along with Acosta and Howard
- Mason Lerma was a bright spot for the Aggie bullpen, escaping a jam in the fourth with back-to-back flyouts
- Hawai'i's Jordan Donahue fueled the offense, with a 3-for-3 effort, that included two RBI, and three runs scored, while Ben Zeigler-Namoa and Itsuki Takemoto each drove in three runs
- Six different Hawai'i hitters recorded multiple hits

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UC Davis made some noise early, getting bases loaded in the first inning, but a double play ended the scoring opportunity
- Hawai'i responded by striking first on Draven Nushida's RBI single in the second to take the early, 1-0 lead
- UC Davis threatened again in the top of the third after a hit by pitch from Joey Wright and a single from Howard, but a double play turned the momentum to maintain Hawai'i's lead
- The Rainbow Warriors came through with one more in the bottom half of the frame to make it 2-0 after three innings
- Hawai'i broke it open with three runs, highlighted by Donahue's RBI single and Zeigler-Namoa's sacrifice fly in the fourth to take the 5-0 lead
- In the sixth, Acosta, Alex Gouveia, and Ryan Lee strung together three straight singles to load the bases, but a strikeout and flyout left them stranded
- At this point, the Rainbow Warriors had a 6-0 lead, and added on two more runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the commanding 8-0 advantage
- Hawai'i would cap off the day with eight more runs, scoring four in both the seventh and the eighth to secure the 16-0 win
