HOW IT HAPPENED
- Howard led off the game by ripping a single through the right side, then used his speed to reach third base on Leehey's single two batters later
- With runners at the corners, Acosta delivered an RBI single up the middle in the top of the first, giving the Aggies a 1-0 lead
- Green took over from there, dominating the middle innings and holding Hawai'i to 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position during his six-inning outing
- Hawai'i tied the game 1-1 in the bottom of the seventh with a clutch run
- The Aggies threatened in the eighth, but Magdaleno made a game-saving play—fielding Acosta's squeeze bunt and flipping home to nail Jaxon Murphy at the plate, preserving the tie
- In the 11th, UC Davis put a runner on, but Hawai'i escaped with a critical double play to keep it tied at 1-1
- The game stayed tied until the bottom of the 13th, when Quandt drew a leadoff walk
- Delaney retired the next two batters, but Kedren Kinzie recorded a two-out single to move Quandt to third
- After an intentional walk loaded the bases, Quandt broke early from third on an 0-2 pitch, causing a balk call that allowed Hawai'i to escape with the 2-1 walk-off win
