The short story: UC Davis was once again paced by
Braydon Wooldridge, who finished the day going 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs, leading the Aggies to a 7-5 win on Sunday after trailing 3-2 in the sixth inning.

FIRST PITCH
- Max Hippensteel got the win out of the bullpen for UC Davis
- The right-hander bounced back after yesterday with two shutout innings, giving up just two hits, one walk and striking out five
- Tyler Wood made his return to the hill and started the ballgame by tossing four innings, surrendering only one earned run, on three hits, walking one and striking out three
- At the plate, Wooldridge, went 3-for-5 on the day with his first career home run and two RBI
- On the weekend, Wooldridge was 10-for-18, with four doubles, one home run and a whopping 12 RBI while also tossing two hitless innings on the hill in UC Davis' win Tuesday over Pacific
- Alex Gouveia furnished a standout day at the plate as well, going 1-for-4 with a triple and a walk from the leadoff spot
- Ryan Lee also chipped in for UC Davis, putting together two hits in four trips to the plate while adding a walk and an RBI
- Mark Wolbert was spectacular on both sides of the ball today, making a big-time run saving catch in the seventh while hitting an RBI double in the fourth

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Aggies were trailing 1-0 in the third inning when they first put runs on the board
- Gouveia came across to score the lone run of the inning for UC Davis
- The Wolverines broke the tie and re-took the lead heading into the fourth inning, when the Aggies got back on the scoreboard with the aforementioned one-out double from Wolbert to make it 3-2 in favor of the Wolverines
- UC Davis held the Wolverines off the board before rallying to snatch a 6-3 lead in the seventh
- The Aggies bats heated up in the inning, scoring four runs, and made the most of a Utah Valley error to take the lead before the seventh inning stretch
- The Wolverines fought back, closing the gap at 6-5 in the bottom half of the seventh
- UC Davis added some insurance in the ninth with Wooldridge's one-out solo homer off George Albrecht, bringing the score to 7-5
- The score would remain at 7-5, as the Aggies held on for the win behind the two-inning save from Carter Delaney
UP NEXT: UC Davis heads back home and will host San Francisco on Tuesday, March 4 ,for a midweek tilt against the Dons. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. PT.
