DAVIS, Calif. – During the last meet on home soil for the Aggies, the team was proud to recognize their thirteen fabulous graduating seniors.

On the Hunt Seat side, the Ags celebrate

Margaret Franke for their dedication to their craft and devotion to English equitation.
Over on the Western side, the Ags celebrate
Emma Dillon, Maddie Gleason,
Maddie Gregory,
Kendall Lance,
Ruby Nahum,
Natasha Replogle, and
Kayla Wolfe for being the hardest working horsewomen of the outdoor arena.
Senior
Jessie Rechs dominated the Fences, earning the lone point for the Aggies. While riding Tony, she scored a 79 to crush her competition by five points. Senior
Emma Jolly and Otis scored a 73 in her final home performance. Senior
Natalie Wasson and her pal Bear had a great showing, scoring a team-high 83 over the Fences.
Over on the Flat, there were two ties; starting with
Anna Donovan and Otis scoring a 67 to match the Gamecocks. Senior
Margaret Franke and Courtage posted an 80 for the second tie off. Tony had another great showing, sophomore
Lauren Kolbe leading him to a winning score of 82 in a close one point battle, earning the MOP.
In the pen on the Horsemanship side, sophomore
Kylie Jacobson stirred the dirt, earning the highest Aggie score of 75.5 while aboard Spookadee. Her performance beat out the Gamecock rider by 2.5 points for the win. Fellow sophomore
Laura Kate Holliday and Maizy also earned an Aggie point with a ride of 69.5, tying up the score 2-2 with the Gamecocks.
The pressure was on as a re-ride was called to finish out the event for senior
Kendall Lance and her equine companion Belle. Lance was fired up for the opportunity, and scored a diamond 72.5 with Belle to earn the final Aggie point ad make the score 3-2 at the conclusion of Horsemanship.
After horseshoes took flight and all was said and done, the Ags and Gamecocks ended up tying 5-5 on the western end. Senior reiner
Emma Dillon secured a 69.5 atop GT, her last home meet on Aggie soil ending with a victory. Junior
Nicole Shroyer earned the second Aggie point with Cruiser, coasting in with a 68.5 to win by 1.5 points.
In the end, the team fell 7-11 to South Carolina, but their spirits were bright as they gave the seniors a sweet sendoff on home turf.
UP NEXT: "The competition isn't done yet," states Humphrey. "we're beyond excited to continue this team's momentum at Championships next month." After wrapping up conference play today, the Ags will travel to Martin, Tennessee for the ECAC Championships from March 27-29.
