- Nick Leehey followed that up by launching a two-run homer off a hanging breaking ball to left field for a 3-0 lead

- In the third, Mark Wolbert doubled, stole third, and scored on an error to make it 7-1

- UC Davis officially broke the game open with four runs in the sixth, the biggest inning of the night for the Aggies
- Story delivered a two-run single, and Murphy and Wolbert drew back-to-back walks with the bases loaded to push the lead to 12-1
- Before the game concluded, Pacific tacked on two runs, but UC Davis answered with two more in the ninth via a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly from Johnson to make it 14-3, lifting UC Davis to their second straight win and a season sweep of the Tigers
